Hawaii Realty International features the best Waialua real estate MLS search for homes, condos, and land available on Oahu. We have worked hard to ensure this is the only site you will ever need. It is easy to use and navigate through Waialua real estate searches.
Waialua is a historic residential region found on the scenic North Shore of Oahu. Waialua was originally a sugar mill town, with a cultural legacy encompassing the plantation days of Hawaiian history. In terms of statistics, Waialua has a population of about three thousand eight hundred residents, making it a pleasantly small and rustic community. Waialua is about half an hour away from Waipahu, Waikele, Mililani, and Ewa, while an hour’s drive is enough to make it to downtown Honolulu, Kalihi, or even Diamond Head.
Waialua grew largely out of the historic Waialua Sugar Mill, which is now defunct but remains standing as a tourist attraction and museum. Waialua is privy to the scenic beauty of the North Shore, as well as the Polynesian Cultural Center, a number of ancient Hawaiian historic sites, and the Laie Mormon Temple. The Dole Plantation maze, store, garden, and museum are big draws, while the Triple Crown of Surfing is held annually in the beautiful offshore waters. Waialua is less than five minutes away from Waimea Valley and offers outstanding ocean views and warm weather year-round.
